Hardware/Software Requirements

CD-ROM Products

Windows: A 100% IBM compatible 80386 computer running Microsoft Windows 3.1x or greater, with at least 4 MB of RAM. A double-speed or faster CD-ROM drive with capability of reading ISO-9660 format discs.

Note: A Pentium with 16 MB RAM, running Windows 95, 98 or NT is recommended.

Macintosh: A Macintosh computer running Macintosh System Version 6.0.5 or greater with at least 1 MB RAM. An AppleCD SC CD-ROM compatible drive or greater with capability of reading ISO-9660 format discs.

Network: Users require the network version of CCOHS' CCINFOdisc software in order to access CD-ROMs connected to a workstation or file server.

Internet

Computer connected to the Internet. Web browser software that supports tables and HTML 2.0 or greater (e.g. Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 3.0 or higher).

Intranet

World Wide Web server running search engine software.
